Summary

EdgeOne Medical is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing Project Management organization.  This is a Unique role that leverages an individuals’ technical and project management skills while delivering and maintaining excellent customer service.  Contributes their technical and project management skills to support managing all testing projects and overall internal management of testing projects within organization.  Requires excellent leadership, communication and planning skills while interfacing with clients and internal EdgeOne resources.   This role is responsible for leading or overseeing quality efforts for laboratory activities including equipment qualification, test method development and validation, and testing. Additionally, this role will support or lead quality efforts for various device and device combination product development programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as Project Manager for all testing projects concurrently active within organization. 
  • Lead weekly (or biweekly) client calls and issuing meeting minutes with all action items identified and discussed during team call.  
  • Support EdgeOne organization in helping define prioritization of testing across multiple projects.  
  • Contribute to the management and maintenance of E1M’s project management tool for ongoing testing projects. 
  • Support internal E1M weekly project update meeting to confirm testing resources are allocated and prioritizations defined. 
  • Communicate with client, as needed, on schedule updates that impact previously committed completion dates. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. 
  • 6-8 years collective experience as medical device engineer and project leader of medical device development program and/or design verification testing programs.  
  • Thorough understanding of device development process and technical understanding of medical device testing stages. 
  • Broad knowledge of the Product Development Processes and its supporting quality systems.  
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills. 
  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills. 
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization. 
  • Must be able to interface with clients on a personal level. 
  • Motivation and desire to share your knowledge with the broader industry community.
