Summary

EdgeOne Medical (E1M) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with specific deep knowledge in combination product development. This role will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams (consisting of client and EdgeOne team members) through applicable stages of development: concept to commercialization.
  • Develop detailed project plans (timelines, budgets and resource allocations) and risk management/contingency planning strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and address issues or delays, with goal of completing projects on budget, within scope, and on schedule.
  • Coordinate and communicate with project sponsors and/or stakeholders, as appropriate.  
  • Provide timely updates within E1M’s project management tool for ongoing projects, monitoring project health, resource allocations, and prioritizations.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment focused on delighting the client.
  • Open to a remote/hybrid role, with 15-25% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or similar.
  • Proven track record of leading CP programs through development to commercialization; with working knowledge of device development processes and testing stages.
  • PMP certification, preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in medical device/pharmaceutical industry with minimum of 5 years as project leader of combination product (CP) development programs, ideally for a PFS and/or Autoinjector. 
  • Management of direct reports within a service-based organization, preferred. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivation and desire to share your knowledge with the broader industry community.
